We will consider GMAT/GRE waiver requests on a case-by-case basis. Waiver recipients have a solid amount of work experience accompanied by past academic work in a quantitative field. Please note that the waiver is competitive and not guaranteed, and your request will undergo evaluation by the department faculty and admissions committee, whose decisions are final.
To receive a possible GMAT waiver, we will need one official transcript from each college/university you have attended and a completed application. Please note, waivers are not granted before submitting your application and are not transferable to other programs.
Georgia State offers graduate research assistant (GRA) positions that provide a discount on program cost for the Master of International Business program. If selected by a department, your GRA position would require you to commit 16 hours per week. Work hours are typically on a set schedule during normal business hours.
The first step towards being considered for one of those positions includes submitting your online application for admission. Each year, there are limited GRA positions available, so you’ll want to begin the process as early as possible. Also, we offer merit GRA positions for students with exemplary credentials such as high test scores and GPA. Those credentials will be reviewed for eligibility upon review of your application.
