I started applying for internships during my first semester in the program and got an offer from Mohawk Industries as an infrastructure cybersecurity intern. I helped the systems engineer solve issues and built reports for an identity governance tool called SailPoint. I also was exposed to the SAP side of cybersecurity including governance risk and compliance. Through the internship, I grew to understand how cybersecurity is paramount in every organization.
