B.S., mathematics, Bosphorus UniversityCuneyt Evirgen serves as senior academic professional at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. He is also a faculty member at the Institute of International Business (IIB) and Faculty Director for GSU-CIBER.
Evirgen is a seasoned executive, educator, scholar, mentor in international business and strategy. He holds bachelor’s degrees both in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics as well as an MBA from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, and a doctoral degree in Marketing and International Business from Michigan State University.
Prior to joining Georgia State, Evirgen was the Director of Executive Development Unit (EDU) and a faculty member at Sabancı University in Istanbul for almost two decades. His responsibilities included management of custom and open enrollment nondegree programs in executive education as well as professional non-thesis graduate degree programs. He was also previously the general manager of a leading market research agency that operated in Turkey, Caucasia and Central Asia.
In addition to some 4,000 hours of graduate and executive teaching experience, Cuneyt also published in academic and trade journals, and has written book chapters and company cases.
He has accumulated 26 years of corporate board level experience with such companies as Teknosa, Carrefoursa and Cilek Inc.
