- Biography
Jennifer Daniels is a bold and inspiring strategic leader, entrepreneurial growth adviser and ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She helps business leaders accelerate growth and innovation by infusing lean entrepreneurial principles into leadership development, executive team value creation, strategic planning and execution, operational excellence and continuous improvement, outcomes selling and marketing, and change management.
Jennifer serves as a Professor in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, where she designs and teaches highly experiential upper-level undergraduate and master’s level courses in consumer behavior and entrepreneurship across multiple teaching modalities (in-person, synchronous online and asynchronous online).
Jennifer is also President at Flying Laboratories®, a growth strategy consulting and leadership development company that provides executive team and 1:1 coaching and strategic advising services, as well as facilitation of experiential workshops. The firm's name was inspired by Amelia Earhart’s plane, dubbed "The Flying Laboratory," which she commissioned to advance aeronautical innovation. That same commitment to experimentation, continuous learning and entrepreneurial growth is what fuels Jennifer's passion for empowering and ennobling leaders to create, grow and lead on the fly.
In the community, Jennifer serves on the Mission Advancement and Strategic Planning Committees as a Board Member with Catholic Charities Atlanta and leads the Strategic Planning Committee as a Board Trustee at the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, MD. In addition, she is the President of Lax4Community, a 501(c)(3) organization which aims to help more players and their families experience the game of lacrosse by reducing economic barriers and supporting the growth of local youth and high school lacrosse programs.
For over 20 years, Jennifer held progressive leadership roles with GE in technology, process improvement, sales, marketing and innovation acceleration, which included her serving as a commercial organization executive for an intrapreneurial startup that provided management consulting services to GE's most strategic customers. She also held sales and marketing executive leadership positions at ChoicePoint, USIS, and LexisNexis, and was co-founder of Slimpressions® with a patented line of women’s shapewear.
Jennifer earned her B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland and MBA from Georgia State University. She and her husband, Frank, live in the Greater Atlanta Area where they create, grow and lead on the fly together as the blessed parents of 3 adult sons and 2 dogs.
