Leveraging her experience as a corporate attorney, Kae Gruner creates an engaging and enriching experience in the classroom. Throughout her career, Gruner has practiced in the areas of intellectual property, commercial contracts, M&A due diligence, regulatory (including FTC and FDA), and business law.
Gruner earned her J.D. and LL.M. from the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio, and her B.A in Spanish and Biology from Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, earning academic honors and Phi Beta Kappa.
While in law school, Gruner argued for the schools' Moot Court Honor Society for Trademark Law and served legal clients in the Trademark Clinic. She also led the student I.P. Law organization as President. As a practicing attorney, Gruner has served clients ranging from pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations to content creators, media companies, and small businesses. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Atlanta non-profit Georgia Lawyers for the Arts.
