Qiuqi joined Georgia State University, Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Science, as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Actuarial Science from Fall 2023. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo (UW), supervised by Prof. Ruodu Wang. Prior to this, he received his M.Phil. Degree in Mathematics and B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics and Economics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), supervised by Prof. Yue Kuen Kwok. Qiuqi’s research interests include actuarial science, quantitative risk management, operations research, financial engineering, and game theory.
