- Biography
Xue Guo is an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems. She joined the J. Mack Robinson College of Business of Georgia State University in 2024. She received her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Temple University. She also holds a Master’s degree in MIS from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Her research focuses on understanding the role of information technology in influencing firm and consumer behavior, with primary focuses on labor markets, IT labor, and two-sided online platforms. She uses a wide range of methodologies including econometrics, field and lab experiments, text analytics, and Bayesian statistics. Her teaching interests include management information systems, business analytics, database management, and programming, etc.
Her work has been accepted for publication by journals including Information Systems Research (ISR), Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ), and several major conferences such as International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS), Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST).
