Executive leadership development and global competency are integral themes of Robinson’s EMBA program and “baked in” to each course. The curriculum touches all aspects of the enterprise as it pertains to today’s global markets and is designed to equip you with the vision and strategic thinking skills necessary to improve your organization as well as solve real business challenges.

  • Before classes begin, you will receive a series of self-assessments; complete an online accounting assessment; and attend a full-day accounting refresher course followed by Introduction to Executive Management, an intense introductory course that takes place over three days.
  • During Introduction to Executive Management, you will meet your teammates who will stay with you the entire 18 months. You will have the opportunity to meet your leadership coaches, evaluate your self-assessments, and engage in team-based case work.
  • The program culminates with a 2-week international business residency.

Earn the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification plus GSU certificates in Change Leadership, Data Analytics and FinTech while completing your MBA degree — at no additional cost. The Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and the GSU Change Leadership Certificate are built in to the Executive MBA curriculum (you must complete the Leading the Enterprise and Data Analytics courses with a B- or better). Plus, after completing your EMBA coursework, you will have the opportunity to earn two additional GSU certificates in Data Analytics and FinTech prior to graduation.

Six Sigma Green Belt: Conveniently built in to the EMBA curriculum is a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. All Robinson EMBA graduates learn, practice, and develop proficiency in the set of process improvement tools that underlie the Six Sigma methodology refined at companies like Motorola and GE.

Change Leadership: Today’s organizations are confronted constantly with the challenge of making changes in strategy, structure, and culture while facing a shortage of capable change leaders. Built in to our EMBA curriculum is a Change Leadership certification that reflects our graduates’ ability to effectively lead others through change.

Data Analytics: We are in the midst of an important and innovative disruption when it comes to the tools and techniques available for the analysis of data. This curriculum places EMBA students alongside graduate students in our MS in Analytics program to work on real data for real companies. EMBA students will learn statistical and computational methods for collecting, storing and processing data; identifying patterns in large datasets; predicting and interpreting the findings; and making data-driven decisions.

FinTech: The finance industry is undergoing rapid change due to technological innovation. To prepare leaders for the impacts of this change, our EMBA program provides an opportunity for students to be participants in the RCB FinTech lab. Here, students can develop an understanding of machine learning, blockchain and other technologies which are transforming financial services, insurance and real estate, and also learn how to leverage them for strategic advantage.
