The vision of the Robinson Inclusion & Equity Task Force is to create an inclusive, equitable and welcoming community that actively celebrates diversity as a core value and strength, and commits the college to recognizing and addressing systemic inequalities in business and society.
Dear members of the Robinson College community,
Colleges and universities are a force for good in American society and around the world. A shining example is the unique success of Georgia State University and the Robinson College of Business in graduating students from all backgrounds.
Eliminating the academic achievement gap among our diverse student body didn’t just happen. It was accomplished through study, strategy and hard work. Similarly, building a genuinely inclusive institution that is dedicated to recognizing and addressing systemic inequities in our college and in our society requires us to apply equally great – if not greater – determination, passion and intentionality.
We’ve organized the Robinson Inclusion & Equity Task Force around seven charters that encompass students, faculty, staff, alumni and our broader areas of influence. Achieving the task force’s vision and developing action plans for each charter requires the commitment of everyone. I encourage you to be engaged in the process by responding to surveys, attending community conversations and sharing your questions and suggestions through this website.
Thank you for helping us build a more inclusive, equitable and stronger Robinson.
The Robinson Inclusion & Equity Task Force wants and needs your insight. How should we build a more inclusive, equitable and diverse Robinson? How can the college address systemic inequality, such as gaps in income, underrepresentation in leadership, disparities in access to health care? Specific, general and blue-sky ideas are welcome and encouraged.
