Research Coffee Breaks focus on cross-cutting topics with relevance to multiple departments from across the college, bridging and engaging expertise from different perspectives in an informal, collegial setting. Research Coffee Breaks offer faculty an opportunity to get to know each other and exchange research ideas over a cup of coffee. Topics are wide-ranging in focus. Sessions come in two flavors: Research Coffee Break Discussions are informal, unstructured conversations with no slides or handouts other than an occasional one-pager. Research Coffee Break Presentations are still informal, collegial, and participative, but allow for slides and longer handouts.
