Submitting Social Media Requests
While social media is adaptive and real-time, it is useful for campaigns and planned content. Department, program, and unit faculty and staff are the clear subject matter experts on the topics they’d like to share, but RCB Office of Communications and Marketing can collaborate and help re-package that content and material for social media. When requesting social media content for your department, program, or unit, please think on the following information, and keep in mind not all material will be used, nor will content always go up as soon as it is submitted. Planning ahead for events and campaigns will be more effective than ad-hoc content. Please allow at least five working days advanced notice, and note that all content will be posted at the discretion of RCB Office of Communications and Marketing.
PLEASE CONSIDER:
Would this content be better posted through my department, unit, or program social media channels, tagging Robinson College for potential re-share?
