Career Advancement Center
The Career Advancement Center’s (CAC) mission is to connect undergraduate and graduate students with employers. Key resources include a nationally recognized career fair, an A.I.-driven platform providing instant feedback on resumes, an online job board where students can search for internships and jobs, and a digital career toolbox.

Panther Immersion Programs
Students at the undergraduate and graduate levels can apply to participate in our umbrella of Panther Immersion Programs: multi-day excursions to key professional districts in New York City, Silicon Valley, and Washington, D.C. After rigorous months-long training including soft skill development, interview preparation, and resume reviews, students embark on their trips, where they visit company headquarters, network with leaders, and ultimately position themselves to compete for high-profile jobs.
Panthers in the District
Students focusing on accounting, taxation, public policy, and public administration are perfect for this pilgrimage to D.C., where they will meet with policymakers and political think tanks.
Panthers in the Valley
Students studying analytics, computer information systems, entrepreneurship, fintech, and marketing are ideal candidates to visit the nation’s hub of technology and innovation.
Panthers on Wall Street
Students from a range of fields including accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, and risk are eligible for this trek to America’s financial district.
Exchange Programs
Study at one of our international partner institutions for a semester or academic year. Exchange programs are reciprocal in nature, meaning participants switch places with a student from the university they attend.

All undergrad business majors from Georgia State’s Honors College are automatically enrolled in this program, where they will explore a wide gamut of career options including academia.
Panthers Accelerated Career Experience
Through this course, student teams act as consultants for a company looking to solve a problem. At the end of the semester, students present their recommendations to the client.
Robinson Immersive Sophomore Experience (RISE)
This semester-long program includes an intense personal and career development course, internship opportunities, mentoring, networking events, and speaker series.
WomenLead
WomenLead offers coursework in a variety of fields university-wide. Students who complete the program often emerge as different people—and more confident in what they bring to the table.

Through this 12-month mentoring program, EMBA students and alumni learn from each other, transfer skills, and hone their leadership capabilities.
Fintech Lab
The Fintech Lab provides a collaborative environment for students, faculty, and corporate partners to experiment with technologies transforming financial services, insurance, and real estate.
Insight Lab
In the Insight Lab, students tear apart companies’ raw data, organize it using algorithms, and leverage their findings to address problems like client attrition, money laundering, and prediction of severe auto insurance claims.
Legal Analytics Lab
Through the Legal Analytics Lab, business and legal scholars work with data scientists to analyze litigation filings and outcomes, patent applications, and other documents to predict legal outcomes.
Social Media Intelligence Lab
An interdisciplinary group of faculty, doctoral students, and research assistants develop and disseminate knowledge on social media tools, techniques, and best practices.
