Student Support
As a Robinson student, you are equipped with a full support team to help you throughout your graduate program. From picking the right classes, to finding industry events, to interview prep, these are the staff members eager to help you in achieving your professional and academic goals.
Student Engagement: Serving as a liaison between you and Georgia State, your student experience professional will provide guidance and support throughout your academic career. In addition to being the first point of contact for current students, this team creates extra and co-curricular programming, and connects students with industry events.
Graduate Academic Advisement: Your academic advisor can help you make the right decisions in selecting courses toward earning your degree. Your advisor can assist you in building your academic schedule, help you complete required forms, and point you toward the resources you’ll need to get where you want to go.
Career Advancement Center - The Career Advancement Center can help you reach your goals through career fairs, A.I.-driven resume reviews, an online job portal, networking opportunities, workshops, and other opportunities.

Associate Director of Graduate Student Engagement
Jermaine is the associate director of graduate student engagement. In this role, he establishes strategic initiatives and direction for the Office of Graduate Recruitment and Student Services in the leadership, management and coordination of program initiatives. Jermaine joined Robinson as an academic advisor, working closely with graduate students since 2015. Prior to his time at Georgia State University, Jermaine worked with corporations such as ING Direct and PNC Global Investment Servicing. He received his B.B.A. in business management and MBA from Delaware State University. In his free time, Jermaine enjoys traveling, whether it is to see family or to explore the tropical sites the world has to offer with close friends.
Graduate Student Engagement Manager
Laura is a graduate student engagement manager. Prior to joining Robinson in 2024, she served as a client relationship manager at Georgia Tech, overseeing the planning and execution of executive-level custom programs for esteemed clients such as Clorox and The Home Depot. Laura’s professional journey also includes admissions roles at the New York Film Academy, where she often spotted her colleagues on television, and at her alma mater SCAD, with positions held in both Savannah and Atlanta campuses. With a bachelor's degree in advertising, Laura has enriched her career with experiences in agencies across Atlanta and New York City. Beyond her professional pursuits, Laura's passions include home design and renovation, DIY projects, dreaming up new ideas and exploring the world through travel.
Assistant Director of Graduate Student Engagement
Gillian is an assistant director of graduate student engagement. She joined Robinson in 2015 after working for Chick-fil-A and Northwestern Mutual. An Atlanta native, Gillian completed her bachelor’s degree in financial planning at the University of Georgia and MBA at Georgia State University. Gillian truly understands the needs of a Robinson student, having filled those shoes herself as both a full-time graduate student before pivoting to full-time employee balancing work and school. She is incredibly resourceful by aligning the appropriate resources and opportunities to maximize execution of any idea, event or new endeavor. In her spare time, Gillian enjoys exploring with her family to colder locales, watching Formula 1 and volunteering with the Junior League of Athens.
Assistant Director of Graduate Student Engagement
Justina is an assistant director of graduate student engagement. Joining Robinson in 2023, she brings a wealth of experience from roles at Hussian College and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in South Georgia. Justina holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master's degree in sports administration from Georgia State University, as well as a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University. Drawing on her extensive higher education background, Justina embraces the opportunity to create meaningful experiences for students, cultivating an environment where they can flourish, develop and unlock their full potential. Outside of work, she likes to collect vinyl records, travel across the country and volunteer in various community organizations.
Graduate Student Engagement Manager
Annabelle is a graduate student engagement manager. As a mission-driven professional, she is passionate about providing meaningful experiences that add value throughout the student lifecycle. Prior to joining Robinson in 2024, Annabelle was at Virginia Tech, as Associate Director of the Executive Ph.D. Program and Assistant Director of the Executive MBA Program. Before Virginia Tech, she was at the College of William & Mary, as Assistant Director of MBA Programs. Originally from Virginia, Annabelle has her Master of Public Administration from George Mason University and B.A. in Communication from Virginia Tech. Outside the office, she’s an active member of her church community and enjoys tennis, hiking and travel. She’s attended various tennis events from the US Open to the Atlanta Open and a travel highlight of hers was in Peru, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
