Travel as an Academic Experience
Embedding travel into your academic experience is one of the best ways to learn about other cultures, develop understanding and tolerance, and build an ability to work with diverse teams. Soft skills such as adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and general curiosity will set you apart in interviews and position you to compete for jobs with top choice employers.
Through an exchange program, you will study at one of our partner institutions for an entire semester or even year. By staying in another country for an extended period, you can pick up a new language, develop a greater sense of self-reliance and flexibility, and build lifelong personal and professional connections that will benefit you the rest of your life.
Study abroad opportunities typically occur for short periods over spring break, Maymester, or summer. Experienced faculty members design and lead the trips. Robinson has relationships with respected academic institutions and companies across the world, enabling study abroad participants to fully immerse themselves in their destination’s culture and build skills to apply in a global workforce.
