DBA program at GSU celebrates 10 years, a celebration of alumni achievements and the exchange of knowledge and practice between both alumni and students. Panel sessions were chaired by faculty with alumni participants sharing perspectives and insights on various topics relevant to DBA program graduates.
We are excited to share that Dr. Deborah Hazzard, GSU Executive DBA Class of 2012, has become the Associate Dean of Diversity & Inclusion for Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Deborah holds a Doctorate in Business from Georgia State University.
Georgia State University Executive Doctorate in Business Administration student, BP McCoy, delivered a talk titled, “Leading Through Adversity…The Act of Creating Belief,” to the University of Oklahoma football team earlier this year.
The Executive DBA and a Ph.D. are similar in a few ways, but also differ in terms of program length, structure, candidate profile, curriculum, and expected outcomes. The Executive DBA was created with senior-level managers, c-suite executives, and professionals with extensive experience in mind.
